Staff was friendly and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived. No matter what the question or request, they were happy and eager to help us. Location was very convenient and located right by the bay which made for lovely walks. This location is a designated stop for tours and Flybus operations which makes it easy to walk right out of the door to your bus or van. The city bus station is around the corner as well. Breakfast was amazing with offerings to please everyone. There is a small grocery store right up the block behind the hotel and we were able to get to go sandwiches and snacks for our daytrips. The beds were a little on the firm side for my taste but my grown daughters were in bunks and said theirs were fine. The pillows were wonderful and the duvets were great! Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful property in a great location- 2 blocks from the main shopping street, 2 blocks from the sea front; 2 blocks from the Bus Stop 9 (for tourists); the airport buses and some tour buses stop right in front of the hotel. Lovely staff- I arrived at the hotel very early due to my flight but the girl at the front desk was more than accommodating and let me check in early and gave me a room on the 5th floor with an amazing view of the sea and the mountain. I greatly enjoyed the Icelandic midnight sunset from my window. What a wonderful stay at the hotel! Will return.

Very helpful staff, good sized room for 3 people with coffee and tea facilities, with a table and chairs so you could bring food in and dine properly. Close to downtown and waterfront, parking was available but at cost. Young lady at the front desk was very helpful with calling about a booking we had for the Sky lagoon ( highly recommend too) and also calling a taxi for us to get to our cruise, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name 🤔 We didn’t have the breakfast but walked up the street to a local bakery for their cinnamon rolls yummy 🤤

During our week-long stay, we got everything we needed for a non-fussy holiday: a quiet, clean, and spacious room with the comfortable beds, a handy refrigerator, and a cozy dining area. The shower water has the specific eggy smell of Icelandic geothermal water, but we enjoyed it as a unique local feature. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet food was fresh, tasty and sufficiently varied. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and the port. Would definately stay again.

We were upgraded to a better room free of charge. Breakfast was good. Rooms have heated floors and have all the basic amenities. There were parking in front of the hotel for a fee, but cost $30+ USD per night. There's a P3 parking lot next to the hotel's and if you're lucky enough to snatch a space it's free from 6:00 pm to 9:00 am. There are parking garages closed by; download the app PARKA to help locate one. Plenty of restaurants closed by. Good wifi. Reasonable rates.
